Cestisus is the homeworld of the Homo-sapient Cetian race. Physically it is similiar to other human prime worlds when compared to in terms of geology, weather and atmosphere. The gravity of this planet is ninety percent that of Earth. Only half of the surface is covered by liquid water.

The biosphere of this world is quite diverse. There are plants and animals, both single cell as well as multiple cell species. Though there are not the numbers of species as there is on Earth, it is still an impressive array. The warm and humid temperatures of Cestisus do harbor an impressive number of varieties of foliage. The world is covered by huge swaths of greenery.

The capitol of this world is the city of Cestival. It is a huge metropolis that is home to almost fifty million residents. It is one of over forty large cities that dot the planets surface. There are also hundreds of smaller communities that are homes to the Cetian population.

Cestisus is a Tier IV world, meaning it has all of the conveniences of modern society. The transportation and communications networks are very efficient and reach almost ninety-five percent of the population.

Orbital objects include a natural ring and a planetoid called Herias. There are at least a dozen large orbitals that serve as research and transportation hubs. One of note is the Tanmera Shipyards which are responsible for the construction of the majority of the Cetian interstellar ships.
